Before joining the ranks of film producers, Rapke served as co-chairman of
CAA (Creative Artists Agency) for seven years. Overseeing the motion picture
department, he was instrumental in building production companies around his
high-profile client list.
A graduate of New York University Film School, Rapke moved to Los Angeles
in 1975 and landed a job in the mailroom of the William Morris Agency. Four
years later, he joined CAA, beginning a successful 19-year association with
