
GIANNINA FACIO (Co-Producer) marks her first assignment as
a feature film producer with "Matchstick Men". Through Cara Films,
her production company, she is producing "Alles Bob" with Scott
Free, to be directed by Sharon Maguire ("Bridget Jones' Diary")
and financed by Intermedia Films. Together with Ridley Scott, they will team
up again for a screen adaptation of the story of the Gucci dynasty that she
will produce along with Sony Pictures, with Scott attached to direct. Facio
is also producing with Scott Free the screen adaptation of Joe Lansdale's
novella "The Big Blow." Jake Scott ("Plunkett and Macleane")
is attached to direct. Currently she is producing "Tristan & Isolde",
which starts principal photography on September 1, 2003, to be directed by
Kevin Reynolds ("The Count of Monte Cristo") and starring James
Franco ("James Dean", "Spiderman I" and "Spiderman
II"). Her producing extends further into network television where she
has set up the project "F H 2", a one-hour drama at CBS.
